The Arts|Learning Networking and Advocacy Division is dedicated to providing information, resources and programming that will help you advocate for the arts in your community, whether it be across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or in any other state or region of the United States.

The Massachusetts State House of Representatives passed a resolution on March 1st celebrating March, 2010 as "Arts Education Month" in Massachusetts. Governor Deval Patrick made a proclamation declaring March as "Arts Education Month." These resolutions were jointly sponsored by Arts|Learning and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

We encourage citizens to bring these resolutions to their local school boards, town or city councils, mayors and town managers, and ask them to create similar resolutions and proclamations for March as Youth Arts Month, and to plan celebrations, exhibits, and performances to highlight this important month.
