Application to Participate in the e-Showcase
Want to participate for 2013? Applications are now being accepted on a rolling basis to participate in the Creative Minds Unleashed e-Showcase. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Art work may be in any or all of the following domains of art: visual art, drama, dance, music, media, and literature. It may be in the form of digital photographs, documents, audio files, or video files—anything that can be posted on a website.
- All art work must be digitally posted on your school, district, or program web page, which will then be linked to the A|L Creative Minds Unleashed! e-Showcase website.
- Student work may be from any grade along the pre-k through grade 12 continuum, representing Massachusetts students only.
- Student work should represent exemplary achievement from your organization. We suggest a maximum of 3 entries per school or organization (all posted on the same webpage).
- Each organization or school is requested to identify one piece that they wish to feature on the “Creative Minds Unleashed” webpage which will appear as a thumbnail icon next to your organization’s website link, which will lead to the other pieces being exhibited.
- Individuals may enter youth artwork by filling out the attached form and emailing or faxing it to Diane Daily, MCC Education Programs Manager at diane.daily@art.state.ma.us, or 617-727-0044.
- All art work posted should adhere to district, school, or organizational guidelines to ensure student safety and confidentiality. It is assumed that written parental approval for all students under age 18 and written student approval for ages 18 and above has been obtained for all works and names to appear on your website. The MA Cultural Council and Arts|Learning can not assume liability for websites that have not followed this protocol.
- The attached form must include the signature from your superintendent, principal, or head of organization to indicate approval to have your website linked to the Arts|Learning Creative Minds Unleashed! website to participate in the e-Showcase for March, 2013.
- All entries should be received by March 1, 2013. Entries sent after March 1 will still be accepted pending room on the website.
- MCC and ArtslLearning reserve the right to review all postings for appropriate material and will make the final determination of which websites to post.
Please fill out the attached form. Please sign it and have the chief executive officer of your organization (principal, superintendent, executive director) also sign the document. Please scan the document and to Diane Daily, MCC Education Programs Manager at diane.daily@art.state.ma.us, or FAX the document to Diane Daily at 617-727-0044.
