Arts|Learning is the recipient of a two-year Peers Grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council for work to support the School Arts Leader (SAL) Program, 2014-2016.

Significant funding has been received in 2015 from the Mattina R. Proctor Foundation and an anonymous family foundation, both in Massachusetts, for our work on the School Arts Leaders Program.

AFTA
A|L is proud to be the lead organization in a collaborative that is receiving three years of funding (2014-17) from the Americans for the Arts (AFTA) in the “State Policy Pilot Program” (SP3). Other partners include MASSCreative, The MA Cultural Council, the MA Dept of El and Sec Ed, the MA Board of Higher Ed, and the Boston Public Schools.

Arts|Learning and MASSCreative submitted the “Arts for All” proposal to the MA Department of Higher Education, requesting an admission requirement for MA public universities of one year of high school performing, media, or visual arts! This is part of our ongoing work for the SP3 grant highlighted above.
